School Fire Damage Near Pasadena, Texas
The fire that resulted in this school was due to a utility malfunction. The smoke caused most of the problem as it left soot all along the walls. The ceiling tiles were also destroyed as they are porous. Some of the tiles actually got too hot and started to sag because of the heat.
You can see in the first picture that the smoke stayed close to the ceilings leaving the rest of the wall untouched except for some running of water from the firefighters.
The second picture shows our technicians cleaning the walls and tops of the student lockers. The walls took on some smoke smell but the deodorization techniques worked to remove the smell.
